Target and challenge
The user base for this SaaS product consists of small to medium sized tech-enabled companies and startups with an immature security leadership plan who don’t have resources to monitor and optimize IT security across 3rd party integrations
The main requirements were to create a friendly and intuitive web application that helps non-technical stakeholders navigate cybersecurity and track API integrations that could leave their companies at risk should they not be properly managed.
Problem and discovery
Cybershield Security had an existing MVP in the market however it was still lacking key functionality that would allow users to realize the complete value proposition.
We facilitated a Design Sprint to get a complete understanding the existing product while mapping out future functionality. We discovered through affinity mapping stakeholder questions and concerns several key areas of focus and were able to prioritize our efforts from then on.
Outcomes and achievements
Through a virtual Design Sprint were able to get aligned through intense collaborations between company stakeholders and. product teams.
We produced product statement documentation, product requirements, personas, journey maps and an interactive prototype focusing on the main dashboard, onboarding and API integration.
Company Onboarding
Users must complete their business profile which at completion provides the user with the specific areas of compliance their company needs to be concerned.
API Integration
Next, users must integrate all APIs they are currently using. Integration allows the system to scan and diagnose what documentation and permissions are present/enabled and reconcile what an optimal end state looks like for to remain compliant.
